Cannot wait for a 500 or 600 F4 DO version!! Prob another year... then hopefully we can all pickup a standard 500 II/600II for a few pennies cheaper.

Oh man, I'd love a 500 DO!

When you see my camera gear you'll think I'm a pro.
When you see my photos you'll know that I'm not.

Ordered mine through CPW, should arrive tomorrow. I will pit it against the 7DII. However, I have already made up my mind - the 7DII will appear on the For Sale forum this weekend.

Me too actually. I've never been much of a straight line guy... now give me some curves and we're talking. I "had" a heavily modded Z (350) until last year. It was a lot of fun but I had the suspension modded so much you just didn't want to drive it every day. I got rid of it when I got my new truck and couldn't be happier. Truck works much better for me, and I actually drive it as opposed to it sitting in the garage for months at a time. Todd has some neat stuff though.

This is why I'm keeping the suspension on my 370 stock. It seems to me it's a can of worms once you want to go to true coilovers all around then it's new arms, etc etc $$$$. I also like the compliance of the stock setup as it just sticks on uneven surfaces especially freeway expansion joints. Coming from an understeer nightmare wrx (no amt of modification could fix it without making it ride like crap), this car is lightyears more confident in turns.

I did throw on some two piece z1 rotors (30lb reduction in rotating mass), ebc redstuff pads, motul 600 fluid, drop in k/n's, and fast intentions exhaust is on the way soon. It's also a midnight blue, and you just do not see many of them in that color, especially in Oregon, so it gets a lot of looks, but most importantly it's fun to drive. Anything else is either a lot bigger, a lot more expensive, and/or will lack the hydraulic steering feel of the Z. I do wish it had a bit more bottom end TQ, but it's works fine on the right roads. Oh and getting rid of those crap stock bridgestones transformed the vehicle. Pilot super sports, worth every $$$.

Works fine as a daily driver and shockingly does better on gravel roads than the wrx did modified!!

I don't blame you, if it had been my ONLY car I would have too. I hear you on the Bridgestone's, they still putting those RE050A's on there? They were terrible. The RE01 Pole Postions are pretty good though.

I guess we should get this back to being a 5D4 thread lol

Well after driving around for 2 days I have concluded the 5D4 is excellent but until I get a longer lens I think I will stick with my 7D2 for BIF for now. I get great results with my 1.4 TC but I think slows down initial AF acquisition a bit. At this point I think I still prefer shooting sans TC for BIF. Without it requires too much cropping. I will sort through some other shots.

It was too bad this one had it's back to me. I tried to flank it but it took off and was behind branches.

Decided to see what it could do. An amazing lens. TC holds it's ground too.

I had a 350Z, and went the opposite way into an STi. Love both cars, totally different road going personalities. RWD > AWD for handling and driver engagement, no doubt. When I was young and in college, that 2 door Z was a chick magnet and loads of fun, but now that I'm boring and practical, the 4 door STi is the rule of the day. What year WRX did you have?

Oh, and the C-Log upgrade was announced today for the 5D4.... yawn. If this site was called videography-on-the.net, I'd be more excited...
