I like the pic. Very good. One minor item. A small rule to keep in mind. And please, the advice does not detract from the pic. Just advice.

With the Hands... Men Grab. Women touch. This one is getting closer to grabbing.

Nice work with the pic. To loosen up the lips a bit, ask her to gently breath through her mouth.

I don' mind the "grabbing" as much as I do the poorly place flower blossom touching her breast. Fortunately, that can be cropped, which also strengthens the composition.

Thank you for that, I am very new to portrait photography and relatively new to photography in general so I will take all the advice I can get!

I see what you mean. But -- her chest is in focus and the flower is out of focus. Meaning it is in front or her, not pressing against her.

I think it looks like the flower is sprouting from her. But that aside, I think the thing I find more distracting is not seeing both whites from each eye.

How does the Sigma 85mm art work with the sonys? I have an a7 and was going to grab the 85mm 1.4 and also use the MC11. What is the focus speed and accuracy like?

I got an a7rii + MC11 + 85 Art. works like a dream. I use and abuse the eye AF feature and it nails it everytime at f1.4. I'm very happy with it. Im' now strictly using ART lenses. I already have the 24-105, 35, 85, and 135 Arts.

Just curious, aside from cost and owning the lenses prior to the A7rII, wouldn't you be better off with the Sony 85mm f/1.4 GM?

When it comes to quality, the Sigma 85 art blows away Sony's 85. However, using a Sigma lens + adapter on a sony will cause slightly slower focus speed.
$1200 sigma vs $1800 sony.

I'd probably be happier with the sony lens honestly, but the $600 difference and lower picture quality of the sony was enough for me to go Sigma.

Currently, I'm 100% happy with how the adapter + Sigma has been functioning. It can only get better as Sigma rolls out updates for the adapter and lens. USB lens dock for sigma made it super easy to update my lenses.

Blows away the Sony GM? Are you even remotely serious????? Their sharpness is comparable and the Bokeh of the GM is WAY smoother, plus 11 blades vs 9 and native AF...so yeah like your Sigma as much as you like (I love my Sigma 135mm) but do not talk nonsense about the GM just to try validating your purchase cause you are not helping any one.
