M&M's do that to me. That happy candy shell turns into tiny razor blades in my mouth.

That shouldn't happen. The shells are easy to crunch up, or you can let them melt. Is some health condition, maybe a vitamin deficiency, making your mouth too sensitive?

I don't know enough about Toblerone to think why it might cause pain.

Triangular shaped sections that are difficult to break with your hands, so you resort to biting and, .... ouch!

You enjoy pain in the roof of your mouth then Moose? Lovely taste in Toblerone, but impossible to eat without some hurt!

Captain* Crunch always did a number on the roof of my mouth....

*The FDA or some strange lobbyist didn't like the fact it was once written Captain Crunch because it is not a real captain, so it was relabelled "Cap'n Crunch"...

guess they had no issue with the sugar, chemicals, processing, food coloring, AND That It Hurts The Roof Of Your Mouth!
But goodness yes, let's clarify for the kiddies that it is not a real captain gracing the box cover...

Same deal with Dr. Pepper.... not a real Doctor so now it is labelled Dr Pepper with no period.... Egad, I say...

Generals do not have strips, they have stripes!

Or something of that nature

I'm not sure why you have to put it in your mouth pointy-end up. Just break off a section and pop it in your mouth flat. Jeez.

Instead of trying to pry the sections apart, just squeeze two tips toward each other with your thumb and forefinger, and they'll break apart. Moose knows stuff.

At least you didn't say anything about generals having stripes.

Generally speaking, I'm not a General.

I spent the day in the yard. I mowed, raked, drove fertilizer spikes into the ground around the shrubs, put mulch in places which mulch should go, generally spent the day making the yard look nice. I won't be able to move tomorrow, but the yard looks darn good, and it felt good to do something outside!
