Illustrates the truth of the axiom, "There are lies, and then there are statistics", along with the corrolary, "..and then there is marketing spin". The real truth can often be found 'elsewhere'.
Illustrating the perceptions that can be spun from statistics, here we show that during March the Dow fell after a period of strong gain, and has just now 'finally managed to recover the loss' in mid April, as if the Dow was struggling
...but the truth is the Dow hasn't been struggling for over a year and is doing quite well, and March experienced some decline but ultimately the Dow has continued to rise.
It will be interesting to see what happens over a FULL YEAR, to see if Sony merely had a brief limelight (like Nikon briefly did, over Canon), or a long term growth at the expense of its competition in FF bodies. The A9 reaching the market seems as if it will play a role in the growth, if the tests and reviews reflect the initial positive aspects with few issues arising to make it stumble.
