on a coastal walk with the family (in distance) in Norfolk UK. Big skies, wide space. This may look like a decent incline but is actually just the top of the cliff next to the sea (on left). It has this little gully which I sort of made asa feature but mostly it is about the texture, tones, light and space. My wife calls these sort of pics my "4/5ths foreground" images, but I love the atmosphere in that area, there is such a sense of light and space, and 'quietness'. IT makes me feel like a more primal creature, like I want to just sit and 'be' there, like I imagine the little rabbits must feel (well probably not , perhaps if they were 'human rabbits' then). There is something warm, inviting, intimate about the ground and something inspiring (makes you breathe in) about the sky, it both relaxes and energies me, that feeling is what I try to get in my images
;)

+1

I too like those big, wide spaces: Brecon Beacons, Lake District, the Devon&Cornwall moors, SW Coast Path, etc. Especially when no one else is in sight. It feels so good, I want to embrace the whole mountainside, even in a drizzle ;-)a

Where abouts in Norfolk if you don't mind me asking? There's a lot of it, what with it being IIRC the second or third largest county in England by area. Lots of coastline too, probably second only to Cornwall in that regard.
