A fellow veterinarian (actually a she) saw this and told me she has done some of these, it is a huge production to get the horses on and off and they allow trainers to be with the ones that are nervous fliers. Very interesting stuff.

I'll bet it is a challenge. Horses, to me at least, seem unique in appearing to be simultaneously massive and powerful yet also very fragile (the legs).

And big balls of adrenaline- easily stressed.

It's a great vantage point; top level of Hibiscus Parking Garage. I bet you will get hooked like I am after being there for the first time when Emirates B777-200 landed at FLL for the first time. Early mornings when the sun is low in the sky and the planes are heading east is a "blast."

This Air Canada's B787-9 visited FLL for the first time on 04.20.17. (C-FGDT) This relatively new jet is usually doing long haul between Canada and Europe.

Very cool, Tony. Like learning to ID birds (which I've been only doing for a few years) I have to learn to ID planes as well. Great fun. From now on each time I have to go to FLL I will try to go early and get some photos. My wife and son are taking a flight from MIA tonight but I dropped them off at the Tri-Rail station this afternoon (we live near its' origin in WPB) as I didn't want to drive to MIA and back home in Friday night rush hour.......
