Hi, has anyone ever tried the Canon 100mm F2 USM (external link) on a A7 body with the metabones IV?

It's not on the list http://www.metabones.com/products/details/MB-EF-E-BT4 (external link)

I just actually need aperture control(for video).

Thanks!

Canon EF 100mm f/2 USM Lens
Metabones (FW 0.47): Fast and accurate PDAF AF-C and AF-S with Wide, Center and Flexible Spot
Fotodiox: PDAF struggles but Very Slow Contrast AF-S is possible
Viltrox: PDAF struggles but Very Slow Contrast AF-S is possible

aperture control will work for sure

Put the explor 600 to use again today.

I was able to get it to work with my rapid box duo even though its made for speedlights. It's a smaller soft-box, but the light is much softer than my larger westcott apollo due to the double diffusion panel.

Thank you so much! I will also have the Yongnuo clone soon(tuesday).

I want to rent the Canon one to do a side by side comparison.

I say get the Canon, resale value is great. Shot with it for several years, sold with no loss, maybe even a gain
