Around here they feast on water snakes all the time. You can photograph this if you are patient and watch them hunt. Thanks.

This lens has always been somewhat inconsistent in my hands but when it is good it can be very good. Here it's very good....gave it a whirl on the 7Dii, it had been a while.

How are you liking the mk iv, now that you've used it for a bit ? Worth upgrading the 6d ?

Hi Dave. I am still on the fence. When it is good it is VERY good, but sometimes it still won't do what I want it to as far as nailing focus on smaller subjects. For big subjects especially flight shots it is coming along just fine for the most part. I am improving though. I am not sure I will get rid of my 6D. When I shoot live music (high ISO) I might want to have both FF bodies on hand with different lenses. Until now I would take just the 6D and switch lenses around. Two FF bodies would be nice. The focus system in the 6D gives me fits in that situation sometimes, though, because when moving the focus point around I often accidentally hit the button for all focus points. That slows me down. The 5DIV doesn't do that. And the 6D is so sweet at high ISO. I am content with both for now. As far as capabilities there is no comparison, the 6D can't hold a candle to what the 5DIV can do But that is to be expected given the niche and price points. And I am getting spoiled by that touch screen!! Taken for what it is and knowing its limitations as well as capabilities, the 6D is a great camera.
