From a wedding this past Saturday. We only had about 6 minutes to work with the bike before he wanted to take off for the reception. I ended up using this lens for 85% of both weddings this weekend.

I like the shot but want to voice a loud 'no comment' regarding the groom's choice of footwear.

Thank you for making me laugh, I had a good look at it myself ;)

I guess, dress code doesn't matter much anymore.

They are both good. But I prefer the one in colour.

Definitely the colour, they complement each other so well.

I guess, dress code doesn't matter much anymore.

I'd be tempted to add that that suit was evidently not made-to-measure. Well, at least not made to measure for him.

I guess it is 'modern times'. Half the grooms that I see in today's wedding photographs look like they have never worn a suit before ... and really don't think dressing well for the second biggest day of their lives matters any too much. It's a pity because the brides (as in this case) are still trying very hard. I'd love to know what she thought of his horrendous grey shoes. Clearly, they are new and bought for the occasion. That makes it so much worse!

One small positive ... I like the way his pocket handkerchief matches the bodywork of the bike. Nice touch.

He bought grey vans for all of his groomsmen and the ring bearer. I think the grey on grey looks good, and I know that vans and converse have been a thing for a while, but I'm a sucker for elegant loafers. I spent a lot for Bruno Maglis for my wedding.

Fine with jeans ... but never with a suit. Probably expensive ... but looks so cheap.

Buy a pair of nice Italian or British made shoes (loafers, boots or Oxford lace-ups) for your wedding if you have the means. It will look really classy. It suggests you care.

Come-on: You get born (biggest day of your existence by far but you don't have much choice over attire); You get married (second biggest day of your existence and one where you can choose what you wear ... don't screw it up by wearing what are basically trainers); You have children, you achieve this, you blow that and finally you die (well, it's good to be elegant but what shoes you are wearing is not going to be anybody's first priority that day!).

To each their own. He was happy with them. Hopefully he'll be happy with the images when he finally sees them(on their honeymoon).
