I've been told it's got a druid look going on
and once was told I reminded of a knight in an Indiana Jones movie
but I haven't figured that one yet.

11 weeks post Tibia Plateau surgery - plate and 7 screws inserted

I did this really quickly - the idea was to get a picture of the scar and hardware in action

I have a bunch of tears in various ligaments but it does not appear that anything is a career ender - just lots of physio required.

I'm starting to be able to climb stairs without too much pain with the left leg - but going down is much harder.

Could have been a lot worse.

Hockey and wedding photographer. Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

Here's my first portrait using a 3 light set up. My new strip box came in today so I used both on either side of me behind and to the side. For the main light, I used my 24" soft box high center and a silver reflector angled up from the floor (actually, it was leaning against the camera tripod).
