Had a go at a moon rise Tuesday evening... this is my first attempt and didn't realise how tricky it would be with the constantly changing light of the sunset so my exposures were a little wayward plus I think I just rushed it in general

The weather here in the UK can make this kind of shot very opportunist so a little disappointed with myself at not taking a bit more time... it was clear enough skies overhead where I live but where I knew I would get a view of the moon rise had thin misty cloud cover...

Did learn from the experience though... need to concentrate on focus as its a little soft, bracket exposure for a bit of margin and in the case of this image not over process as I think I did a little here..

Also feel that a day or so earlier would have been better light wise as the moon rise and sun set pretty much crossed over on the day I took this...

Sorry there is not much foreground interest as its mainly fields and trees where I live

Thought that one was a bit soft, due to slow shutter...

Here's another with spot metering giving what I thought was a higher speed....

But, it's slower, so, must have held it still better this time.
