My son hamming it up. I wish I could post pictures of my daughter. Unfortunately, until the entire adoption process is finished, we are forbidden from posting photos of her onto any sort of social media. Bummer...

In any case, I did a series of headshots with both kids making funny faces. Put them all together to get a photo blanket made for the wife for Mother's Day.

Loved the harsh Mid day sun and big crowds for the opening day of Hollands (Michigan) tulip festival vmad

But still got to get a quick (though not good) shot of my girlfriend Michelle.

Shot with X-T2 and 50-140 @ 140mm I believe. First shot is converted to Astia and the second is Acros + red filter.

Hey, in some cases, ANY shot you can get of a significant other is a "good shot". :)

This while walking to my Aikido class tonight. Looks like the start of a fun night out for them.

The pattern conflict between the lads is so offensive that I nearly missed the bong.

It's worse in colour. I was tempted to join in as I was up since before 6am for a longs day's shoot. All my gear packed up in the boot of the car except for one camera - just shows. They were bombing Guinness.

Exceptionally straight shot for JoeCo [the make some audio gear] as per their brief, of one of their users with one of his U19 units. Tricky to not get any unwanted reflections in the metal or glass and have the LEDs on the panel shine through. Least in the studio you can take a few minutes to line it all up before you have to shoot. 1/4 of a second for the LEDs to show, flash shutter to freeze subject.

How did you light him?

C&C always welcomed...
On my images, of course, and on my words as well--as long as it's constructive :).

Did a quick shoot with my son. His birthday theme this year is Avengers. I always make custom birthday invitations for him.

At first I went with a muted color look. I like this one the best.

However, what's Thor without his lightning? So I blue'd it up and added a bit of lightning.

A little behind the scenes in case anyone is interested.
