Finally getting a chance to shoot more lacrosse. Here's two from the game I shot last night. Still not completely happy with how the D500 AF has been performing recently but this game was definitely a lot better than other recent games have been.

Thanks. I think I finally found the sweet spot for the D500 as far as focus goes. Im going to give it a few more games before the camera is fully redeemed for me. You mentioned faces....

I was having a huge issue recently with images coming slightly soft on the D500 with all my lenses (but the lenses were tack sharp on my D3). I think I finally found the good spot for lacrosse...
