Thanks Travis, I really love this lens navydoc wrote in post #18353780 Eddie, You might try the tools in ACR or LR to align. In ACR, I opened your image and selected "Transform" from the top menu. Then I used the guides tool on the upper right. 4 guides, two horizontal and two vertical on the center section of the roof. Here's what I came up with. I left your black crops in so you can see the amount of change. Hosted photo: posted by navydoc in ./showthread.php?p=18353780&i=i31407142 forum: Sony Digital Cameras Thanks Gene. Ive actually got DXO Viewpoint 2 but ive never took the time to learn how to use it yet. I need to make a point of doing that for situations like this Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

I need to work on my technique of these type of shots as I could only get one side aligned and the other 3 are off (unless its the actual building?) ![]() Wow, absolutely awesome image quality there - amazing sensor and lens! TRhoads Cream of the Crop More info | May 13, 2017 18:02 | #32934 Eddie, were those shots handheld or on a tripod? I see the SS at 1/15, so assuming not handheld...when you are focusing with the CV, are you just rolling it to infinity or using focus peaking or the viewfinder? Website

Travis , the interior shots were all handheld. With the CV15 I set it to f/5.6, auto ISO, ISO selector to "slower" and focus to the infinity hard stop and it gives me front to back sharp focus (that's how I shoot my loxia too) Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV

Favourite camera / lens combos: a 1DX II with a Tamron 45 1.8 VC, an A7Rii with a Canon 24-70F2.8L II, and a 5DSR with a Tamron 85 1.8 VC. Every lens I own I strongly recommend [Canon (35Lii, 100L Macro, 24-70F2.8ii, 70-200F2.8ii, 100-400Lii), Tamron (45 1.8, 85 1.8), Sigma 24-105]. If there are better lenses out there let me know because I haven't found them.

I prefer critical sharpness at infinity. From my testing with this lens its the best way to get front to back critically sharp focus. I honestly dont know how the foreground could be any sharper than it is, this lens is a laser Leica M11 | Leica Q2 | Sony α7RV
