I look very carefully at all the photographs on this thread, I look at the camera settings and I very much appreciate the effort and time that's gone capturing such Wonderfull shots. There certainly is a lot of talent here.

Can you imagine what a fantastic book it would make with photo's from almost the 600 pages we have here.

I'm sure I can speak on behalf of the majority of people who post or even who just view this thread that it is a pure joy and a pleasure to see these images. It inspires me more so to be a better photographer.

Thank you all and please keep them coming.

This weekend I spent a total of over 7 hours waiting for these shots of a male and female Pied Flycatcher. They are a very Rare bird in the Uk. I was finally rewarded when they briefly showed themselves. I am so pleased with the 1st image I plan to frame the photo for my hall wall.

I would love to hear how long other member's spend getting 'that shot'

The light was not great, but one of those moments that was a joy to watch.

Lovely capture. Creamy bokeh adds nicely. I think you would benefit greatly from some contrast enhancement in the post processing. You have a great image, but it lacks the "pop" it could have.

IIRC it was fairly overcast. Processed on a 24" IPS Dell monitor calibrated with a SpyderPro3.
