Sony 12-24mm F4 G lens Review - HALF THE WEIGHT of Sigma & Canon!

Not that I was looking at that lens but that video did nothing to make me want it.

Sensor dust, shaky cam, cheesy music, and ill-timed and arbitrary slow motion ramping. I guess having decent gear doesn't really guarantee quality filmmaking; who would've thunk it.

I seen a 40 million pound yacht last week. It was really affordable compared to the 100 million pound yacht it was moored next to......

Probably good timing by me to have sold the B25 and B18 earlier this week!!

Hence "compared to" and "relative." Did you open up your chequebook for it?

Tell your wife you've been shopping for yachts. She'll be elated when you change your mind and buy the $2,200 lens instead

I know, it's crazy. How rich do you need to be to think it's ok to buy a billion dollar boat

The 16-35mm GM is the lens I've been waiting for...likely will be selling my Batis 18 and 25 for it.

The 12-24mm will be not very good. I don't even think about it. Imo Sigma's the only company that can make an extreme ultra-wide zoom lens really good at that price. Sony, Canon, and Nikon all have similar price structures. The Canon 11-24 is near $3000 and is suitably awesome. That Sony priced theirs at 1700 tells me everything I need to know about the image quality of that lens. Would love to be wrong on it though.
