I can't say this enough about your skill; photographic brilliance leaps out onto the frame every time you release the shutter...

Don't know what you are missing....

Over a years waiting list in most places for an M 10.

22 days from date of order to pickup here in Brisbane, feel sorry for those who've been waiting for months in other countries...

Thats pretty good - i think we have a 2month wait at work.
We did have a flurry of pre-orders recently though (to beat the price rise)

WOW.... That looks to be at least two stops better than my 262.

Yes - no banding and very tight grain at higher ISOs. There is also a difference in the color rendition - reds and oranges are not as harsh as the M240. It is thinner and you can feel the difference. I thought the ISO dial was gimmicky but it turns out to be very useful and well placed. It's probably the feature I most value. The VF magnification increase I really don't notice but then again I wear glasses so my eye is away from the eye cup. It's a very mature iteration - not a quantum leap from a M240 but enough to upgrade if you want. Not sure about the wait times, I lucked out and had my camera within two weeks of ordering. The Monochrom 246 is still better at higher ISOs but the M10 is real close. One last thing to mention - and it sounds stupid - the shutter sounds great.

The M 262 isn't as red/orange at high ISO as the 240 and the shutter is also a lot quieter and sound a lot better than the 240. Still wit the 262 at 3200 and 6400 you have to be very careful with exposure to avoid banding.

I am not dumping my M-E, my MM or my 262. Just adding the M 10 to the stable. I wont be ready to buy until next year anyway.

Super result and very practical. 1/180 shutter speed to avoid blur and still no flashlight due to very high ISO!

I'm just a bottom feeder on digi M market. M8 with five dollars 28 2.8 Industar-69 lens:
