I recently purchased a color IR modified G11 from a member here and I was play around with it in a forest preserve a week or two ago. I'm interested in some feedback as I'm still new at IR.

Good start! you'll soon get the hang of what sort of things reflect IR really well, and there's lots of post processing options too...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", 1D MK II converted for IR, and now an M5

I'm still playing around in Photoshop. Those shots were just auto toned in Photoshop. I'll keep shooting and trying new tricks.

Nice start, I really like #1. Of the second set, I much prefer the first over the second :)

As mentioned, IR photography presents alot of processing options. One of the best things I learned was RB channel swapping, you can find lots of tutorials via Google.

If you're able to do a custom white balance on the G11 of a shot with just grass in it, you'll find there's less work to do when processing...
