Only Mallards on my local pond......The light couldn't have been any better, even at the long distance I was from them I was surprised that the water droplets was picked up on the image (duck to the left).

Cetti's warbler

pronounced Chetty. These birds can be just a few metre's away, they are incredibly loud, yet very difficult to see. I was very patient to get this shot. They dive for cover at any slight movement.

That certainly looks better than a sad little pile of feathers ! It's no warbler though ! :p

It was great meeting you guys and, and showing you some of our local birds ! Next time, I say we hire Ed's guide and have a PTON meet up in Costa Rica ?

Oh, wow... I assumed you were in the water with them! Lucky you. :-) Whenever I've seen loons, they are always about 300 yards away. :p
