328i,

Nice documentation!!

Could you have opened up your aperture so that you could have faster shutter speed? At least 1/1000 SS to stop action/motion blur?

Most cases it was wide open at 5.6 with 2x on......where are you seeing motion blur?

The only blur I see is the very first image, the man in front in red, his foot has very slight blur. Overall nice shots!

I'm not complaining. I just shoot sports enough to know that's the location you'll most likely get blur if the rest of the image is sharp. :-)

With The 2x he looses a stop or so if I remember correctly.

That leaves wideopen at f/4. I think 1/1000 is pushing the limits of available light shooting for running humans :)

Looks like there was more headroom to play with higher ISO settings too.

Nonetheless fun shots on at aprox 210mm equivalence on the long end of the zoom.

I'll have to admit I'd love a 50-140mm but for what I'd be shooting the bokeh is still not quite there for me in creamy bliss for my family sessions and events photography. I've read many comments on the 50-140 bokeh quality. I just love the fuji primes in how they render beautiful creamy backgrounds.

I'll admit the 50-200 I own is a sharp lens but the bokeh is not very pleasant. The bokeh reminds me of my Canon 100-400L mk1 I owned.

As a Canon shooter too I actually really liked the 70-200 f/2.8IS mk1 bokeh alot more than the newer razor sharp, incredible micro contrast found in the 70-200 f/2.8IS mk2.
