Just picked this Gerber Strongarm the other day. I'm liking it.

New (kitchen) knife block courtesy of Jordan Elias at BeardBrothers Woodworking. This was the first thing shot with my new 24-70/2.8Lii as well. Sharp enough?

Pay no attention to the clumsily-cloned-out power outlet in the second shot. :p

What a beautiful collection of knives. Love the board and the damascus steel. I don't recognize some of your knives: do you mind sharing some info such as brand etc? Thanks :)

Thank you! And it would be my pleasure.

Left to right:

Richard Dalman 240mm gyuto in AEB-L
Sukenari 240mm gyuto in aogami super (the original 67 hardness heat treatment)
Takamura R2 170mm santoku in SG2
Tanaka nashiji petty 135mm in ginsanko
Zwiling Kramer Euroline 90mm paring in AEB-L (I forget their name for it, but it's AEB-L)

I have at least twice as many more packed away in various places. And then there are the stones...

Another kitchen knife - this one from Blenheim Forge in London. I got it as a housewarming gift for my mother, who first taught me to sharpen a carbon steel knife.
