That looks like an Eastern Red Bud, I have one in my backyard here in Guelph. With all the rain we've had this spring, it's bloomed nicely.

I shot this one yesterday and was amazed at how colorful this tree was especially against the green background.
No idea what kind of tree it is but its color was stunning.

First play with mine today.
I thought i would try it in some testing conditions, black and white birds and white and black birds in good light with my canon 55-250 lens.
All shot as jpegs.
