Our swallows, martins and swifts have arrived. Shot a few on Monday.

House Martins.
These are different birds and there's over an hour between them. :)

Osprey

This one ranged a few hundred feet off the river, flying directly overhead at the school where I work.

This one just lifted off, so I guess it qualifies as a BIF.

A few more shots from last Monday's trip to the countryside. I just love shooting swallows and martins. They're so much fun.

House martins being busy under the roof. Obviously just two snapshots put together.

One of my favourite birds: black-tailed godwits. Their numbers are declining in the Netherlands and that makes me so sad.

I love to shoot them in the midst of a field of wild flowers.
