Got my first wedding of the year Saturday and they are calling for rain during the time we were going to bridal party and couple pictures. I can work around the bridal party and do something creative for them, but wanted to do one of the backlit rain shots with the couple under the umbrella.

For the umbrella, I've seen clear ones and I've seen white ones. Are the white ones just simply photography umbrellas or are they white umbrellas?

Heya,

I've used photographic shoot through umbrellas for it. They block water fine.

Very best,

Good luck with it. Just make sure you have a helper with you if possible to handle the umbrella before and after, help with the flash set up and whatever might be needed. Done a couple of those and it really helps to have another person there if you can.
