Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum

Sometimes I wish the US Navy had the same tradition the Brits do when it comes to rum rations. ⚓

you have a super simple kit, I applaud you for your restraint :p

I'm pretty happy with my kit, but I'm just not happy that 200f2's are really heavy

why cant anyone make one the size of the 135? Diffractive optics or something please

just wait till they perfect liquid lenses, with liquid lenses its technically possible to make lenses much much smaller.

which is why my main wedding camera is a 1DXii with a 24-70 F2.8 with a hotshoe mounted flash with focus assist - there isn't any wedding light that exists, where such a setup cannot lock on and why most wedding photogs use hot shoe mounted flashes

the sony speedlight's focus assist isn't working, right? or i'm missing something.

Sony doesn't use speedlight assist for some reason.

it sucks because the Godox speedlight Sony version has that red focus assist lamp in front but is not working. the sony camera's built-in focus assist won't even hit the target when you have big lenses and hoods.

I remembered on my 5D3 days when we went to a tour inside a cave in Shasta, Norcal, i just used my 50mm F1.4 and the Yongnuo YN-622C transceiver. I didn't use a speedlight, i just used the 622 for focus assist. I never miss a focus. and it was dark inside.

Thanks for the info. My sister bought this empty bottle at a garage sale a long time ago as a conversation piece for my bar.

FE 55

The ladies are already loving my son's eyes. I'm going to be in trouble I think with this little man.

Still need to work on stitching a bit, and would have really helped had I taken my pano head along with me !
