Yep another vote for the Canon 35 F2 Is, It's a great one to have. I enjoy taking photos on my 60D with it. :-)

I also have the Tokina 35 macro, and it is a very good lens.
You can't beat the Canon 35F2 IS for AF speed and accuracy, and it is sharp, compact, and has excellent flare resistance.
It is probably my most used lens on crop and full frame. The lens is reasonable in cost for what it does, and is also reasonable in size and weight. You can't go wrong with this lens.

the one i'm looking at is the new 35mm macro. a little longish for walkaround but it'll work. I was an early adopter of the 35 f2 and it was a great lens that I never used. maybe with the utilty of illuminated macro i'll use the new prime, which is also smaller, cheaper, and has IS and max aperture of f2.8.
