The crescent Moon and Mercury (below the Moon) rising above a thick blanket of fog over Brisbane in Wednesday morning. Just the tops of the highest buildings are emerging from the fog.

Great set. You must have had a pretty high vantage point too.

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

While working on a special Moon project for a friend, I managed to capture these jets passing by. I know this is nothing new, but when you capture them, it sure is fun! I wish I had a longer reach though but I think these turned out rather nice for a 70D and 55-250mm lens!

Quick handheld from last night... apparently the little dot in the bottom left corner is Jupiter...

Taken over the weekend with the 8" Dob and Fuji X-E1. I like that combo for the moon, Jupiter and Venus. Thanks for looking :-)

WOW! Excellent sharpness of the moon. Each crater is very crisp!

By chance did you post pictures of Jupiter and Venus in a different thread?

Thank you. Yes, I did post a few other pics of Jupiter, but I don't think I posted any of Venus yet. Thanks again :-)
