In retrospect, I could have assigned both strip boxes to a single group so that they would always be at the same power but since I don't know what I'm doing yet, I thought I needed to be able to control all three flashes independently. Highly annoying Sony A7siii/A7iv/ZV-1 - FE 24/1.4 - SY 24/2.8 - FE 35/2.8 - FE 50/1.8 - FE 85/1.8 - F 600/5.6 - CZ 100-300 - Tamron 17-28/2.8 - 28-75/2.8 - 28-200 RXD

I can relay my experience...I haven't used it without the extension head but I have the cheaper extension head and find that it had plenty of power for outdoor use even inside a modifier. I have found that TTL underexposes by about 1 stop, but the exposure is consistent between shots. The first time I used it my exposures were off....but now that I have a sense of how TTL behaves on this thing it's as easy as pushing the FEC one stop higher than you normally would. focalpointsphoto.com
