rjharris Goldmember ![]() More info | Just get them comfortable and then doing whatever comes natural as for facial expressions. I've found that sometimes parents want a smile and seniors don't and vice versa. This girl wouldn't smile to save her life until Mom finally talked her into it and I said I could whiten her teeth a bit. (lightroom works for that). Ask them to smile? Other? Fantastic work throughout this thread! I have been a flash juniie for about 4 years and the timing is tough (for me anyways) on getting natural smiles. I am working on my natural light skills, and it seems easier to stay focussed behind the camera and take a couple of more shots (I shoot in silent mode, so my shutter is not loud) Hope that helps a little bit Always be ready to give reason for your hope

UmphreyBogart wrote in post #18394101 ![]() Care to share some insight on how you run your rep program? nothing to crazy.. my rep pay a set fee and basically we do initially 2 sessions to get a good array of material.. i then create them some material to hand out and share on social media.. for every senior they refer back to me they initially get print credits for the first 5 referrals.. after which they have the option to continue print credits or i pay the senior a set amount per senior they refer... if they do well i will do another 1 or 2 sessions depending on how well they refer seniors to me -Bart
