Showy Lady's Slipper orchid. First chance I've had to shoot these since they started blooming a week ago, and many were well past their prime. I did find a few good ones.

Pairing my 'new to me' 5D Mk2 with my Tamron was great fun! I have chosen this pic as I enjoy the background. I brightened the original shot by half a stop.

Dog Roses growing freely in a hedgerow in Essex UK. Early evening in May this year. Wish I had brought the focus back a touch to get the pink rose within the DoF.
