Would appreciate knowing the lens used here.

In anything but terrible light, PDAF performance with my adapted 24-70II is as good as a native DSLR as far as I can tell. It was good enough indoors with window light to keep up with my kids....and if it can keep up with them, it should be able to keep up with a lot of things. Used the MC-11....metabones III keeps crashing on the a9. I'm sure its worse in low light, but indoors during the day it seems more than good enough.

I never sold my 24-70II because it has some dust and the front element has a tiny scratch on it. I've had the lens for 5 years and its all battle damage from my first stent as a wedding photographer....I'd have to sell it for less than I think its worth as IQ is still very good so I've held onto it. I'll have to test the low light AF later, but I think it may have a second life on the a9.

Looks like wedding photographer Ryan Brenizier is switching from the D5 to the a9 for wedding work. Pretty big deal if you ask me, may not get the attention that the feuds between Lanier and Ken Wheeler get but to see a quality working wedding pro make the switch might fly under the radar.

Low light AF with adapted 24-70II on the a9 is a lot better than the a7rII. I tested them back to back around the house with house lights on the a7rII wasn't usable but the a9 worked just fine.

This is one of the few places in Florida one can see a Penguin.

This one is the African variety, and these guys are little--maybe just over a foot tall. I shot him through a screen, so excuse the IQ a bit.
