Lots of antenna towers where I live, two of the main TV channels are located right behind my house.

I've had this lens less than a year, but I love it. The weight takes a bit to get used to, but its worth it.

70-200 2.8 version 1 I like. Bought it because of the versatility. Because often do not know where you have to shoot. With this lens less worried about that. Always shoot at open aperture. Sharpness is enough for a 21 megapixel 5D Mark II. Don't believe the test https://www.the-digital-picture.com (external link). Really it's much better. Really like the bokeh on the 200 at 2.8. Work stably. Focuses quickly and accurately. Helps a stabilizer (in comparison with the 200L2.8), it is possible to keep ISO low. However, compared with the same 200L2.8 worse keeps backlight and has more ghosting and flares. When working in direct sunlight, you need to carefully choose the position. If you are faced with a choice, I recommend this lens for portrait work. Will save money compared to version 2.

DTLA Cityscape Skyline...

A rarity with SoCal weather, of late... Crisp and clean visibility... A combination of cold temperatures and windy weather helped produce the clarity of downtown Los Angeles, with the San Gabriel Mountains as its backdrop... Too bad there wasn't any snow capped mountains, but I'll take it... Captured from the infamous Baldwin Hills Overlook location... One of a few favorite locations to shoot the DTLA skyline... 1DX + 70-200L IS (Version 1)... Lee 105mm CPL Filter + Lee 0.9 GND Filter (stacked)... ISO 200, f/9 @ 1/160sec...

:D
