Fuji X-T2 + Booster Grip + XF50-140 + 2x Extender

** Only issue I am finding is at f/5.6 with 2x its not isolating the players as much as I would want unfortunately **

Lovely series, how did you rate the auto-focus with the 2x.

Tony.

Tony.

I find the autofocus is still pretty solid, no worse than without the 2x I don't find anyway!

thought this was interesting, but coming from Fuji Rumors, not sure how accurate or plausible it may be.

Perhaps our "Made in Japan" lenses will fetch a premium after a while. :)

Was giving back this morning shooting for a children's charity, got out to the car after the shoot and had a flat tyre. Sucked that as I had to unload all my gear to get at the spare. Turns out the car has none vmad

Still back in the studio for the afternoon as I had to shoot this guy, who was super nice and relaxed, a worthwhile hour after a frantic morning.

Noticed this visitor on my patio while working out. I had to take a break and pull out my gear!

Well I think my time has come to say bye to the Fuji gear unfortunately. Shooting pro sports now and the EVF just isn't cutting it, too slow to switch to EVF when required IMHO for pro sports shooting. Very unfortunate.

Sell off has begun :)

To switch to EVF? Are you using both rear screen and EVF? If you only use EVF you can set it not to switch between them--always on.

C&C always welcomed...
On my images, of course, and on my words as well--as long as it's constructive :).

Yes agreed, the other thing is the extra reach, limited to 100-400 but high fstop for isolating the players in pro sports, and then add a 2x extender and it has to close down even more.....ah well I tried and really love the gear, the quality is amazing, love the shots for sure!

I get that. An XF400 f/2.8 R WR LM would be a nice surprise even if it cost 8.5K

I'd be happy with a 300mm 2.8
