Hell yes! There is a "best train shot" thread here....

Any one moved to 80d from 70D, noticing any improvements to IQ? I am getting mine by this weekend. Going to upgrade from 70d. High, low ISO improvements, Video IQ and auto ISO with M mode are the ones helpful to me.

70D-->6D-->80D was my way.

High iso: as I remember about the same as 70D but with 4 more Megapixels to play with.
Low iso: very much improvement in dynamic range.

Video is better on 80D
You can ev compensate in M mode on 80D. I can't remember if you can do that on 70D...

I had a 70D briefly for two weeks. The one I had, had a back focus issue so I returned it and bit on the 80D. Besides what you listed, it's got better dynamic range and can pull more out of darker images. I love the colour rendition too.

Dustin Abbott does a good review with some comparison to the 70D. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvTW_JPYygY (external link)
