Easily one of my favourite lenses! I use it sparingly but when I do I get special images. I also find it sings when in black and white!

you should look at micro adjusting your lenses on your 7D, you're either forward or back focusing on your subjects..

My double bass. This lens was not focusing on my 1dmk3, but focuses perfectly on every other camera I have. After a few rounds of focus adjusting I think i have it on a acceptable level.

2 more out of focus shots... you're either focusing in the wrong place, or you need to fix the focusing issue with your lens and camera....

Unless you're intentionally going for that look, in which case i cant say it works in this case
