To date, it is my favorite. The edges look better than anything else I have used.
I hope I get to at least test it out...looking SE from here there really isn't any light pollution, so I don't know that the PureNight will do much...
SharpStar was a little tricky at first, the trcik is finding the brightest star in the sky you can see, and putting that in the middle of the frame. You are not framing the scene as you want to shoot it, you are obtaining critical focus and then recomposing. Ian has mentioned that for the B18, critical focus is just as the infinity symbol pops up on the OLED, and I have found that to be the case with mine as well, and now I don't have to use the SharpStar for that lens...if it was a critical shot to get right, I probably would double check it to make sure...the trouble is, if the dang thing turns off at all...it can reset...focus by wire is a bit of a PITA.
SharpStar...it makes ALL the difference.
OK, Sharpstar, Ian Norman. Now please tell me my lens choice going with Sharpstar in mind.
I know my classic Rokinon 14mm won't work.
