I am thinking of getting Nikon cap and spraying with Nikon's Yellow or Canon cap and spraying it with Canon's Red.....

I had always sprayed the rear caps of my Tamron's so that i can tell them apart from my Canons at a glance.

If the Tamron and Sigma rear caps are for Canon EF mounts, then does it make any difference which cap goes with which lens? . I mean, don't all EF caps fit the same, regardless of who the lens is manufactured by? . I have a Sigma lens and several Canon lenses, and there is no need or reason to keep the Sigma rear cap separate from my Canon rear caps. . They can all be used interchangeably on any EF mount lens.

.
.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

For my Sigma caps, they do fit but the Sigma caps tend to bind a bit when I fit to the Canon lens (EF-S).
And as for the Canon caps, they are a bit loose when fitted to the Sigma caps.
