I am trying to setup a shoot for the end of August with a friend who wants to get into glamour/boudoir photography & videography. After doing some research in the Milwaukee WI area, the hotels are relatively small and overpriced. But he brought up a good idea, renting a room at the Sybaris. It is a little more expensive than most hotel rooms, but you can get a huge room with a waterfall, pool, large shower, large bed, and plenty of space to shoot. You can get many more "looks" accomplished in a single shoot.

Who has used the Sybaris for shooting before?

You might want to message RickRitz... I do believe that he shoots/shot there.

Great, thanks for the info. I'll shoot him a message.

Yes you are smart to choose a large room with many options for shooting scenes. However, realize that the hotel may veto or want to control any photos or videos on its property, so I would conceal your gear and purpose of your stay. Bring your gear in regular luggage and make sure the models do not discuss it with staff.
