How much space (feet) did you need to calibrate the lens?

bones519 wrote in post #18383751 (external link)
I was about to ask the same. I have the dock and just got my Focal Pro, wanting to dial in this lens.

I done mine @600mm@20 metres, You will need the pro version.

I also will need a longer basement. Is the program easy, moderate, or difficult to use? I have a bunch of lenses and 2 bodies that I would like to calibrate.

Cheers Mark! I did get the Pro.

Did you first calibrate with Focal and then use the dock to write to the lens?

It is very easy to do, It even tells you what to do during the process, I done mine in cam not the dock as i have the 7D2.

I wish I could download a firmware update that would turn my 150-500 into a 150-600 :-)
