Received the new to me FE 70-200/4 tonight. Will take it out for a spin this weekend. Until then, backyard shots.

I'm very happy having native AF and eye AF on a 70-200. Not sure why I waited that long.

Now I can sell the Canon 70-200 and use those proceeds to fund the FE 85! Gear changes are happening fast and furious now!

Sony A7RII and a bunch of lenses.

Nice guide on all the Sony mirrorless bodies. The a7RII is a beast of a body. I hadn't realized the original a7R did not have IBIS.

I love this series, Carlo. The model just nails it.

My only nit is the flash glare on the painted door. But top shelf work as usual.

They announced it a few weeks ago but didn't announce pricing. What's funny is it appears they sent out stock to everyone to hold, wait to announce pricing, then ship it out. $1,300 for the 24-70 2.8 ART is a great price. My GM cost my wife $1,900, lol.

It's a beast of a lens. 1,300 grams.

I've been looking for a lens to replace my Canon mount Bower 14mm f/2.8 but there's no way I'm paying $1600 for it.

I'll keep searching and shooting. From this morning

only beast of a lens that I would put up with, would be a portrait lens like a 70-200 f2.8

beyond that, I have very little interest in using. I would get the 24-70 GM over 24-70 sigma for sure, from what I've seen, sigma lenses are noisy for video and wont af as well.

I'm going to take my time a little and sell off my canon 2470 and then go from there. 24-70 vs 28-135, going to use it mainly for video... with the 28-135, I can use only that lens for all video purposes, in crop mode it gets me to ~200mm, but only f4

Agreed, great lens. Happy on my a6300 or a7Rii. I love its overall form factor a lot.
