Couldn't find a "post your ..." thread for helicopters, so here goes ...

An unexpected fly-by. I was actually shooting pictures of birds, so the settings were shutter speed 1/1000 resulting in little to no prop blur.

Thanks, FrankC. I had noticed that thread, but since this 'copter came up behind my back I hadn't had time to think and adjust my settings. And hence the general new thread for shots with or without prop blur welcome.

Not an NH-90 it is an Agusta Westland Merlin AH-101

SAN Parks Rangers. I wouldn't have thought they were so active, but after spending some time with a Tour Operator I was amazed! While I was with him, her spotted a van who appeared "not quite right" we followed him for a while, radioed in the location & behavior, the next day he & 4 ppl on the ground were arrested.
