Hello! Just joined the forums and wanted to share a couple shots I got last month of a pair of Eagles. I just go into photography around 5-6 months ago and birds are my passion along with other wildlife.

Welcome to the forums! Very nice shots. This forum is slow this time of the year so don't get discouraged if the responses are low. Come fall, you won't be able to keep up with all the posts in the bird section of POTN!

Nice captures. One thing you will discover about this forum is that readers are quite interested in how shots are taken. Clearly bald eagles are not approachable. So there is a challenge there. We would like to know how you addressed it. Lots of us would like to know how you got the shots, what equipment you used, what camera settings. Your images have had the exif information stripped from them. So we can't get an idea about the gear and settings. This is especially useful to you if you ask for advice on improving your photography. We can't give targeted advice if we don't know how the shots were taken.

Oh, and welcome aboard.

Gear: Kodak Instamatic, Polaroid Swinger. Oh you meant gear now.

I took these with my Sony a6000 with an adapter and the sigma 150-600mm contemporary lens. The eagles actually weren't too far out, maybe 80 yards. It was raining and they were in the trees right by a boat ramp. I normally shoot on diffferent auto settings because I haven't been into photography very long so I don't know much about manually doing everything.
