Nice shots. The 70-200II has always been a great lens

Thanks Carlo! Same to you on your recent photos of your kids.

Yes the lens is still great which is why I'm hesitant letting it go. It just seems sharper to me on the a7RII than it did on the 5DIII.

Awesome perspective Gene. So not just for macro! Great when anything does double or even triple duty.

out of all the reviews forthcoming on the 100-400 .... I am most anticipating yours. Did you ever test the 70-200gm?

Why me ?????
No on the 70-200gm, too heavy for me and not long enough :)
Didn't you try it with a TC and it was not so great?
Both 1.4 and 2.0 TCs arrived this week (did I already mention that? senility sucks) and I know I posted up the link to the Kentucky Derby where he shot a lot
with the 2.0.
I'm not 2.0 greedy. 1.4 will be fine for me, 2.0 for desperate shots.

Nice series of your son Alfredo. Skin tones look great on these and very consistant too.

Thank you Gene! I'm using some new color profiles in LR which have been great.

Looks like you're having fun with your new lens. Love the perspective you're getting.

MM, I value your opinion when it comes to birding and wildlife, as your contributions overall are fantastic but I consider you to be our resident birder and shooter of those flying creatures. Just like to me I associate Vin with portraits, Carlo with portraits and Disney themes, Gene with product photography, David with landscapes, and others (I'm terribly sorry if I left someone out, it wasn't intentional!), when it comes to birds, I think of you MM.
