......so....I'm riding down this path in the scrub and I can see a tree has fallen across it up ahead. Well, no worry.....I'll just lift my bike over and continue on. I get closer and I come to the realization.....that AIN'T no fallen tree. Pretty good sized guy....I'm thinking about 7 feet....I didn't have a tape measure...so...........I turned around.

I reckon I'd be inclined to turn around too! :)

Haha thank you both :D But it's an easy solution, you can both get a 6D2 as well :P with the specs it has, I couldn't resist getting it!

So the 6D2 is finally announced. $1999 US list price (body only), and at current GBP-USD exchange rates that should be around £1600 maximum here in the UK. But nope, as always we get the pleasure of paying the same numerical price in GBP as it is marked in USD i.e. Canon want £1999 (body only) – Sorry, but no way. Little wonder the “grey” import market is so rife. I was looking forward to ordering a nice new 6D2, but not at that UK price :-( And yes I know the price will drop in time, but it's not the point - $1999 US equates to £1600, NOT £1999, and for those of us on a tight budget that's a deal breaker IMHO.

Well, if you simply have to have it right now, you pay the price, and enough folks will. It does look like the heard the criticism on the focusing points though, its a MAJOR improvement from the MKi with 45 all cross-type AF points v's the single one..Granted, they had watered down the first version so much, they had nowhere to go but up

If they nicked a little and came out with £1700 it wouldn't be so bad, a grey import may get you a 6D2/24-70F4 for £2000. I know what I would do. Looks a big improvement though, no 4K isn't a deal breaker for me, my Gopro 4 Black eats memory space even at 1080
