The first quarter Moon near Jupiter last night, with Jupiter's 4 largest moons visible. Two exposures merged to create this image (both with my 6D and 70-200 f/4L).

Thanks! I picked up the Jovian moons with a 0.6 sec exposure at f/5 and 800 iso.

Cheers,
Stephen

Obviously eyepiece projection, what's the ep and the Refractor. Curious.

Thanks

Aircalin flight SB150 (Airbus A320) from Noumea to Brisbane crossing in front of a cloudy Full Moon this evening. Not my best shot, but here it is!

I have tried shooting the moon a few times this summer... but seeing has been horrible. Went over some old stacks, and found one I had not processed.

This from Dec 7, 2016.

Sony A77ii, Minolta 400/4.5 + 2X TC about 12 images stacked out of 35 in the sequence. Processed with PIPP, Autostakkert, Astra Image and LR6
