Actually, I have a Thermal Solar (external link) "Heater". I run my pool pump at night in July and August and it literally takes the heat out of the pool and keeps the water a steady 82° :-D

No more on the fire, need something a lot more cheerful. Another sign of summer - the saguaro fruit are ripe, and the birds enjoy them.

spotted an awesome "sign of the season" yesterday, went back today & all the water had dried up!

more rain forecast tomorrow, so there may be hope yet...


some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", 1D MK II converted for IR, and now an M5

We just got back from a 10 day camping adventure. This was taken at about 12,000 ft. elevation ... the window for visiting the high country is a short one. Even in the first week of July we walked over some snow fields.
