... I feel for those still using it and wonder how I ever stayed with photography using one.

Yah, I am still using a 7D, and know what you mean. :-(

2017-07-09.
Fledgling female ruby throat hummingbird perched on a crocosmia stalk. She fed at all my plants stopping to perch several times, "here, there and everywhere" (John Lennon quote).

Don't think I can complete with Weja's (Jan) wonderful post, but this about the best Firecrest I have managed.

Had a visiter just a few minutes ago, I grabbed the 100-400L off the table and it had a 7D on it... I feel for those still using it and wonder how I ever stayed with photography using one. Yes the 7DII is always broken but it will capture a bit more detail. I can't believe I had to work so hard to get an image .... Not that long ago.

Was watching today several birds mostly finches and blue/great tits drinking from this muddy puddle then from nowhere as quick as lightning this beautiful Male Bullfinch landed, the other birds flew off. It took a quick drink looked around and was off. It had a very dominant presence.

Traveling around in Sweden these days, and were so lucky, that I could pee in my pants without getting wet....;o)) I do have this Black-throated Loon at a greater distance too, so I am afraid you may expect a bit of spam, when I am back home....;o))
