Hey POTN, I just downloaded DPP4 from Canon's website last night and wanted to make an HDR photo however that option does not show up in my tools category. I am using a Rebel XT 350D and uploaded the raw files but I am wondering if my download did not work properly, my camera or operating system wont allow for HDR?

Has anyone had this issue before? I am hoping for a free system to use HDR sparingly- a few times per year.

Thank you.

Did you download the FULL version or just the UPDATER version?

I have version 4.6.10.0 and it is under tools called start HDR tool.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

It was in my version 4.5.20.0, 3rd item down under Tools. Also the hot key Alt-Y opens the tool.

Since others have pointed out a later version I did an upgrade to 4.6.30.0 and confirmed it is there as mentioned above.

The only options for me in my tools menu is (from top to bottom):

Start Rename Tool
Start Dual Pixel RAW optimizer
Transfer to photoshop
AF Points...
Grid Display Settings
Highlight Shadow Warning...
Preview Property Display Settings
Settings for thumbnail w/ shooting...
Preview Screen Display Settings
Customize Toolbar
Print button mode
Preferences

Maybe I should try re-installing.

It wouldn't do any harm, and except for the time to download 180 MB it will only take a minute or two to install.

What version does your installation show? [Go to "help", then "About Digital Photo Professional 4"]

Also what is your OS (see below, extracted from 4.6 DPP manual)?
