I had a look at your Flickr pages and I like the borders as they contrast with the coloured backgrounds. On the other hand, when it's a white background, as on POTN, I don't really care for them.

Yeah that is a downside using Smugmug, their link won't actually take you back to the image...at least without some modification.

I think today was my lucky day! I've hiked here plenty of times, but this was the first time I've seen the water so calm! After this photo was taken, 20 minutes later the breeze kicked up and the water started to get a little choppy.
