I don't know if the heat bothers them or not. I've been out there on cooler days and days when its stupid hot....there seems to be no rhyme or reason.
The one thing that I have noticed....like you, I go to places other than the B and I come home with far fewer really good pictures. In fact, far fewer pictures in general. Most every time I go to the B I come home with a bunch of interesting, fun pictures pretty much without fail. I was talking to a girl I met out there and she said she was there every week. I'm not that bad.....well, not quite.
